Last night's Lefty get together was pretty good. I wish I felt comfortable writing lots of detail about it here, but I'm not going to. Feel free to ask me about it if/when you bump into me in person. Or give me a call. I'll just say this about it: Sometimes, a couple Republicans big wigs, a few social drinks, a nearby table full of libs, the "liberal" use of the usual right-wing talking points, the occasional mention of a particular State Auditor's Office employee, and the perhaps well-intentioned use of the North Dakota state seal don't go very well together. I'm just sayin'. Probably HTBT. Today is the 5th birthday of the Living Liberally national organization. Here's Governor Howard Dean's Happy Birthday message for the Living Liberally movement. We at NorthDecoder.com celebrate Living Liberally's 5th Birthday by giving them their 50th state's chapter right here in North Dakota today. The maiden voyage/inaugural meeting of the first and only North Dakota chapter of "Living Liberally" will be next week Wednesday, June 4th, at 7:30 p.m. at Buffalo Wild Wings on South Third Street in Bismarck.
