Bite-Sized Wisdom: Fair Pay

The guy who comes over and pumps out your septic system and then climbs down in there and clears the pipe that runs between the septic tank and the lift station doesn't get paid enough.

From a more philosophical perspective, there a lot more jobs in our society that we have failed to appreciate aa to their real value. That is in part why we are becoming a have and have not economy. Many of the postings on this blog in one way or another relate to these issues of fairness and justice. I reject the liberal/conservative labels. I believe that it is reflective of an idea. The idea that we all have a claim on opportunity is a truly American value.
