However, I was a bit distracted by some of the gay pride parade reveling costumes, and the Holocaust, Marxist, and Nazi signs and slogans - either my tin-foil hat needs new batteries, or I didn’t have the secret code necessary to unlock my inner symptoms of insanity that would allow me to connect with your message? Your bellowing proclamations of wanting your country back have been the most touching. And you’ll get it back to, I am sure, as long as you turn the volume up to eleven keep yelling “TAX CUTS” and “FREEDOM” like the executioners ax is dropping on William Wallace’s about-to-be-severed head. I am curious, has it dawned on you that maybe you are just being used? Nobody wants to admit that because it might indicate your bulb isn’t the brightest. But Dick Armey was outed last week for the fraud that he is, did that make a dent with you? His day job has him lobbying for big cash against your purported interests, and by night, he masks himself as a “freedom” lover at the head of his corporate funded FREEDOMworks spin machine charging you all up with the vigor of the “300". Call me crazy, but just the invocation of words like “freedom” “patriot” and “liberty” seems to get you teetering on the cliff’s edge. Is it possible professional PR people know that those words are orgasmic to you and invoke them for their own manipulative ends? What I mean is, these leisure class types have the cash and the brains, but not enough votes. They need you for the votes. But why would you vote for the interests of za-zillionaire corporations who have moved your jobs overseas, along with their profits so they can leave you with the tax bills? Wealth has been concentrating ever upward and many of our children are and will be worse off than we were in terms of real income - the death of the American dream - exactly how your corporate masters have planned it. For decades, as long as your wages didn’t go up they took that a sign of less than full employment, thus no inflation, despite life costing you more at every turn. How did they do that? Easy, they lied. The talked the government into taking your real costs of living like energy and food out of the Consumer Price Index (CPI), so Fox News can report positively on your plight. Better than that, they created a housing bubble by securitizing mortgages, issued themselves with borrowed money, so you thought you were getting rich when your home value kept going up. To keep you from thinking housing inflation was occurring, they developed a “rents equivalence” device for CPI to make housing costs appear stable despite all evidence to the contrary. You gotta love American corporate ingenuity. I guess they have the time for these games because they quit making tangible things in this country and have to fill their board meeting agendas with something. Wall Street took a wreaking ball to all regulations and quit funding our economy in lieu of just funding themselves, and if they can get you to yell “socialism” loud enough and keep greasing congress with money pilfered from your 401K , we might be able to put that black guy in the back of the bus were he belongs and get our country back. The senate Republicans are now planning to use you once again. In December you’re supposed to show up at GOP townhalls and scream and yell about health care so they can get some Youtube video for the “Internets”. If that doesn’t define being someone else’s bitch nothing does. Anyway, thanks for putting a human face on lab rats..... Have a nice day.
