Someone should send a copy of this column to Ken Rogers at the Bismarck Tribune. Rogers has shown us what a column looks like when the author is afraid he -- like his former boss -- will be dragged into the publisher's office and humiliated into apologizing to elected officials because of a column. Tony Bender has shown Rogers what a column looks like when the author isn't afraid.

... Amen, Brother Tony! I do not know what the hell goes on Bismarck every two years. I understand that many of these people are somewhat loony in their respective districts, but when you put all of the loonies in one area for an extended period of time, well see what happens. Especially when they have the majorities they have, it just seems like the nuttier ideas boil to the top and the next thing we have legislative actions. |
